Installation Design: Develop and oversee low-voltage electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Cabling Design: Design and specify electrical cabling layouts, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety in industrial environments. Specification & Procurement: Select and specify electrical components, ensuring suitability for project requirements. Supplier Coordination : Manage installation suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring smooth procurement, delivery, and testing. Compliance & Standards : Ensure that electrical installations meet UK regulations and industry best practices. Commissioning & Testing: Oversee on-site commissioning, including electrical testing and troubleshooting. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including project managers, automation specialists, and R&D teams. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline). Experience : Solid experience in electrical installation design, cabling design, and equipment specification, ideally within an industrial environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, control panels (MCCs), and industrial power distribution. Software Proficiency: Experience with Trimble/Amtech, E-Plan, AutoCAD/Revit, and Microsoft Office. Stakeholder Management: Ability to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring successful project completion.
