Strategic Leadership for Transformation: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for TPC initiatives, showing clear alignment to local provider strategies. Lead in defining vision, goals, and deliverables for transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and collaborative goals. Undertake detailed strategic analyses, from developing a programme case for change through to clinical demand and capacity modelling. Programme Management and Delivery: Responsible for the portfolio PMO, ensuring SROs are supported in leading the programme, stakeholders are engaged in planning and understand roles and responsibilities for delivery. This includes risk management, governance, decision points, and benefits realisation planning. Ensure PMO adheres to recognised standards (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP) and Trust standards for control. Develop detailed programme plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations. Engage busy senior and expert clinicians or managers across Surrey Heartlands, ensuring that they are able to contribute to the relevant programmes. Develop appropriate business cases, aligned to programme lifecycle. Manage programme execution, monitor progress, and address challenges to ensure successful delivery. Ensure that programmes adhere to established budgets and timelines, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with stakeholders. Lead on individual programmes throughout the entire lifecycle. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Develop and lead on stakeholder mapping and communications and engagement plans. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior executives, department heads, and frontline staff. Lead stakeholders through collaborative working and the principles of co-design, including workshop facilitation. Engage with key stakeholders to gather input, solicit feedback, and address concerns, ensuring buy-in and support for transformation initiatives. Communicate complex concepts/issues clearly to a wide range of stakeholders, using various mediums to achieve positive outcomes. Change Management and Cultural Transformation: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems. Promote a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement within the Trust and partner organisations. Facilitate change management through co-design, delivering communication and engagement activities such as workshops and presentations. Digital Innovation and Technology Integration: Support/lead on the discovery, design and delivery of TPC opportunities for processes and systems. Collaborate with TPC efficiency at scale portfolio, Clinical SROs and external partners to implement and integrate digital tools and technologies that support transformation objectives. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Report on portfolio PMO adherence, overseeing programme reporting and production of highlight reports. Establish mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of transformation initiatives, including benefits realisation. Use data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of programmes and identify areas for improvement. Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice Dissemination: Assume responsibility for personal and professional development (inc. PMO best practice and People expertise), in line with role responsibilities. Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices with internal teams and external partners, as part of a culture of learning and collaboration. Contribute to the development of leadership in TPC transformation within the healthcare sector, attending Community of Practices and other events as required. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives, escalating appropriately. Ensure individual and portfolio compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection standards, and ethical guidelines.
