This role involves liaising with local businesses and organisations to secure placements, coordinating the placement process, and providing support to both students and employers to ensure successful and meaningful experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organisations to secure work experience and industry placement opportunities Coordinate the placement process, including matching students to appropriate placements Provide support and guidance to students throughout their placements Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures Monitor and assess the progress and success of placements Organise and conduct pre-placement briefings and post-placement evaluations Collaborate with academic staff to integrate work experience into the curriculum To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: CIPD Level 5 or above Evidence of commitment to professional development A good standard of Maths and English Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners Experience in a similar role or in employer engagement is desirable Diversity and Inclusion Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of City of Portsmouth College.
