The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the position is responsible for the following:
1. Leading, managing, and developing a team of direct reports.
2. Devising and implementing all in-store Visual Merchandising and display, responsible for creating a great shopping experience.
3. Managing day-to-day operations for the store, ensuring good stock availability, great service, and high standards.
4. Duty management for the whole site in the GM's absence.
The Candidate
The role will appeal to a retail manager with a strong visual and commercial focus. It's a great position if you are creative, with a flair for Visual Merchandising and an understanding of display principles to enable you to create your own commercial displays. Ideally, applicants will also have:
1. Management experience within Department or high-end Chain Stores, Garden Centres, or large multi-product retailers where visual standards are paramount.
2. A good working knowledge of customer service, general retail operations, and the ability to drive commercial performance through people.
