Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of a Content Specialist reporting to the Senior Manager – Brand & Content. As the Content Specialist you will be responsible for creating engaging written and visual content tailored to the business and the industries we serve. You will be working across many teams with the ultimate goal of improving the quality and volume of content to our defined target audience both internally and externally, driving the engagement for the John Crane brand.
The role is located at our headquarters within Slough site. Working Monday to Friday during normal office hours. (hybrid)
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)
* Create product and service descriptions which support ongoing communication campaigns and product/service launches
* Develop whitepapers, blog posts, case studies with industry and company experts
* Ensuring content aligns with brand messaging, industry trends and aligns to customer needs
* Manage content calendars and related delivery
* Work with website optimisation lead to ensure content is optimized for SEO and track performance metrics
* Working effectively across departments to create and ensure a consistent and unified brand voice across all channels, aligning marketing content with the company's overall vision and business strategies.
* Experiment with new content formats and marketing tactics to deliver more effective communications.
* Cross-editing and proof-reading material prepared internally and externally
* Excellent copywriting skills and native English speaker required
* Strong communication skills and a knack for presenting technical information in a digestible manner are crucial for this role
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in English, Media, Marketing, or related discipline.
* Minimum three years of experience within a relevant field
* Experience in B2B Marketing communications preferred
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Must be able to implement at speed and be detail oriented.
* Ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environment.
