The ideal candidate will perform both routine and non-routine tests, ensuring timely communication of results to the process and technical teams. Adhering to site, global and environmental standards. Ensuring safe and efficient operation of their work area. Identifying opportunities to improve equipment and systems performance. Responsibilities will include: Demonstrate Safe Behaviours to prevent accidents and injuries. Actively participate in the AES Loss Prevention System, assessing risk and demonstrating safe behaviours in all aspect of the role. Conduct quality tests in accordance with local SOPs and Internationals Standards. Completes daily checks as per lab matrix (SQC, equipment verifications) to identify quality, safety and equipment performance related emerging issues. Timely reports any off-spec material and participate in investigation. Release product within Sample Manager system and SAP. Maintain equipment record and responsible for product result traceability. As a minimum, a good general education: Grades A-C at GCSE level including Maths, English and one other Science/Technical subject. Experience working in manufacturing laboratory, chemical or physical testing laboratory would be preferred. Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 Standards or any other industrial standard.
