The Role The purpose of the role is to provide the business, clients of the business and senior management with technical experience, quality assurance, site inspections and surveying in line with the company’s multi-disciplinary functions. The Responsibilities Duly complete site inspection duties and corresponding support documents in line with the companies SLA with its clients making sure the build is compliant to regulations. Assist Associate Director in achieving the heightened operational duties in accordance with the companies QMS procedures. This role would suit an individual that relishes the thought of working on a broad range of buildings from single dwellings to some of the largest buildings in Europe and everything in-between. The right candidate should ideally hold a background in either warranty surveying, building control surveying, clerk of works, or building surveying, and either hold or working towards professional membership (MCABE, mRICS, MICWCI, CIOB etc). The candidate may join from another structural warranty auditing provider, or direct from a building control role. There is no requirement to be an RBI registered surveyor, however the building control function very much suits what we are looking for in terms of building compliance, although we do seek an enhanced level of scrutiny. Assist in achieving monthly targets for the company, its service delivery and planned year-on-year growth. Assist in the delivery of internal technical auditing across project risks, site surveying, plans checking and management. Delivery of a consistent service and build effective client relationships on all schemes through the completion of surveying duties. Work with the company operations manager to deliver projects successfully to all stakeholders through the completion of surveying duties. The Requirements Ideally you will have a building degree or at least 5 years’ experience in inspecting new build homes and are proficient at carrying out key stage inspections audits throughout the build process from the foundation stage and ideally experienced in managing other Surveyors. Professional Membership required: Part / Full member of professional organisations with minimum grades accepted: TechRICS / MCIOB / MCABE / LICWCI.
