Job Description
The HR BP will not actively manage day to day ER caseload, this is managed by the ER Team, the HR BP’s will be responsible for the local site and making sure this casework is completed in a timely fashion.
The role will report to the Director of HR Partnering, Employee and Industrial Relations.
Key internal interactions: Head of Reward and Reward Operations, Head of Talent, General Manager Methil as well as local leadership Team, Employee Relations Team, Union representatives.
* Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
* Integration Projects: Further to the sale process, there will be integration projects running throughout the next 1-2 years, the HR BP’s play an integral role in delivering this change. Projects will include system implementation, policy review and build, workforce planning and competence rollout.
Qualifications
* CIPD Level5 as a minimum. Ideally CIPD level7 and or MSc/BSc in HR / Employment Law
* Evidence of working at a senior level within HR, experience in a unionised environment is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, mediation and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Use of SuccessFactors or equivalent HRIS systems.
