Your Role: Oversee and manage product categories, focusing on growth and a balanced commercial strategy. Build and nurture strong business relationships with suppliers – from local family-run businesses to global FMCG brands. Negotiate supplier trading terms, JBPs and marketing plans. Conduct range reviews and develop pricing and promotional strategies. Coordinate order placements in alignment with demand and supplier agreements. Admin tasks such as setting up new lines, stock transfers and fielding calls. What We're Looking For: You're organised, have an eye for detail, and can communicate effectively. Working under pressure is second nature to you, and you always meet set deadlines. A positive and proactive approach is integral to how you work. You're adept at liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and management of all levels. Skills & Experience: Robust understanding of the FMCG commercial market. Aptitude for building and maintaining relationships. Confident with numbers, particularly using Excel. Self-motivated and driven. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Skilled in problem-solving and negotiation. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite. Solid academic background, including GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade B or higher. A degree (2:1 or higher) is a plus but not essential. About Us Farmfoods is a successful, independent retailer specialising in frozen food.
