About the Role
5. Support NPPD projects for Terex mobile Crushing, screening & Conveying - ensuring projects needs are interpreted accurately.
6. Create accurate electrical schematics, bill of materials and technical documentation.
7. Assist in developing concepts & proposals; ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget & all key objectives are me.
8. Provide appropriate technical support on both existing product and NPD.
9. Take ownership & manage the introduction of new technology to ensure robust, repeatable & stable test periods.
10. Support product cost reduction and product reliability improvement efforts.
11. Directly contribute to and support continuous improvement in line with the business demand.
12. Occasionally perform equipment commissioning, installation, and testing both in Company and onsite.
13. Design products that comply with Company, industry standards & legislation with regards to machine safety.
14. Work with key stake holders to meet the Terex target of ZERO harm.
15. Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and in the creation of project risk analysis.
16. Ensure all project documentation & technical files are compiled and stored correctly.
17. Write Functional Specifications for software.
18. Support Operations teams on improvement projects & focused improvements on Terex products.
19. Support product cost reduction and product reliability improvement efforts.
About you
Experience & Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
20. Degree in an Electrical Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent qualification.
21. Technical expertise in designing 3 phase AC & 12/24V DC voltage control systems.
22. Familiarity with electrical automation of hydraulic systems.
23. Experience working in heavy equipment industry of 5+ years.
24. Comprehensive 3 phase AC electrical design knowledge (Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starts etc)
25. Knowledge of required standards EN60204, UL508A/NEC/NFPA79
26. Experience in design of 12/24Vdc control systems including CAN bus, Modbus etc. networks.
27. Experience in electrical control panel design e.g. Zuken E3 Series desired.
28. Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunction.
29. Development of PLC Software (ideally in CoDeSys).
30. Knowledge & understanding of Hydraulic systems – a bonus.
31. Independent and self-motivated individual.
32. Project management and analytical skills.
33. Presentation and interpersonal skills.
34. Travel will be required.

41. Position is based in Campsie N. Ireland.
This role will involve frequent national and international travel.
