Ensure that work packs are raised, and effectively sequenced to meet delivery targets, and that tasks are staged and identified appropriately for complex tasks and critical maintenance tasks. Assist with Production Planning duties and facility capacity planning and control. Manage ‘pre-input ‘process, including but not limited to organisation of ‘pre-input’ meetings as required with relevant stakeholder(s). Chair daily status and ship side meetings in conjunction with Aircraft Managers. Create project plans for maintenance inputs which identify key sequences, milestones and critical path tasks. Ensure that project timelines are updated to accurately reflect on-check progress and skill type forecasts for each input. Ensure all WO requirements are identified and task templates are maintained for pre-load/Maintenance Data/Spares/Tooling. Ensure accurate manhour targets are updated in the templates and work packs to reflect changes in performance/working practices/maintenance requirements. Continually review systems and procedures to improve aircraft downtimes. Liaise with 3 rd party companies (sub-contracted) including but not limited to Part 21, working groups and OEMs as appropriate to agree technical solutions. Be a focal point for the Customer providing status updates, agreeing project approvals, and providing cost overview. Provide Technical Support for allocated aircraft in work including Repairs, Mods, queries, tooling and specialist information. Working closely with the Production Team to ensure that project targets are met (Profitability, On Time Delivery, customer expectations and satisfaction) Carry out any other reasonable task in line with the role as requested by the Technical Services Manager. Required: Educated to a minimum of ‘A’ level standard or equivalent experience in a relative field of expertise. Previous demonstratable experience working in an aircraft maintenance, production planning or airline environment. Full computer literacy with experience of using Microsoft packages. Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Able to understand and write technical text and drawings. Good organisational and planning skills. Desirable: Technical Support experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulations (EASA). Product knowledge of the Bombardier Series aircraft. Keen Commercial awareness. Able to demonstrate the ability to make a technical assessment and decision with consideration to recognised standards using engineering knowledge. Able to demonstrate diligence with a high attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Willing and able to perform as part of a team to achieve delivery targets.
