Salary: £33,594 – £50,589
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher Technical Education for 14 hours per week. This position is temporary for a period of up to August 2025. This position may be suitable for a Secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post on a secondment basis.

This post forms part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge to deliver courses as part of the BGE and/or senior phase curriculum as appropriate to meet the needs of our learners.
In line with Section 21 (2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, the successful candidate for this post will require to have the approval of the Roman Catholic Church. Applicants are advised that it is their responsibility to obtain such approval and this must be done at the same time as submitting the application form.
Applicants for teaching posts must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
