Early Years – the organisation for young children wishes to recruit seven Early Years Quality Mentors to work within the Early Years Team on a fixed term basis until 31 May 2029. The roles will cover a geographic spread in Northern Ireland: Omagh / Enniskillen / Belfast / Londonderry / Newry, working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working is available.
These seven roles will be responsible for the programmatic development, delivery, coordination, and quality assurance of the pre-school ASPIRE project across Northern Ireland and the border region of Ireland. The focus will be on leading improvements within the sector and contributing to the delivery of existing services and developments within the Early Years portfolio.
The ASPIRE Project is a shared education initiative, funded through PEACEPLUS, aimed at providing direct and sustained contact between children from all backgrounds. This multi-year, cross-border partnership is led by the Northern Ireland Education Authority alongside Early Years, the National Childhood Network, Léargas, and Fermanagh Trust. Early Years will be leading on the pre-school element, and this is a fantastic opportunity to work on an ambitious project seeking to make a real difference to our society by embedding shared education from the start.
