HW Finance are working in Retained partnership with a West Yorkshire based services provider who are looking to appoint a Head of Commercial Finance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results driven professional to drive strategic growth and operational excellence within the business. The role encompasses financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and business modelling, to support the company’s strategic goals. You will play a key role in enhancing profitability by managing costs, improving productivity, and optimising overall business performance.
This role will provide significant exposure to the senior leadership team, as you will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and report on commercial performance across clients, products, and business areas, as well as develop competitive pricing strategies to maximise contract value.
* Budgeting and forecasting/modeling of all areas of the business to deliver for Group Board.
* Review and increase profitability & productivity of all areas within the business; measurement and reporting of commercial performance of the overall business and then segmented by client, by product, and by business area.
* Deliver data/MI for the business to drive productivity; manage pricing strategy for new contracts to balance competitiveness with profitability and articulate the detailed processes and calculations behind a range of pricing calculation methodologies.
* Monitor commercial performance of existing accounts to identify revenue and profitability growth opportunities; support the SMT in regularly reviewing the commercial analysis of business and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
* Financial Qualification - CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
* Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels in the overarching value of the solutions offered by the business.
* Excellent customer engagement skills to support the development of senior client relationships in understanding the overarching value of the solutions offered by the business.
* Strong client-facing individual with a track record of successfully growing profitability within complex contracts.
* Proven creative ability, identifying opportunities for revenue generation, cost management, or alternative pricing.
