About the role
This role is responsible for working with a cross functional team serving a specific customer group and outcome for that group. This role will be responsible for translating the cross functional teams plans into Direct to Customer Communications that are engaging, relevant and help our customers as well as that communicate the key facets and benefits that the Cross functional team believe is appropriate for the given group of customers.
You will be responsible for
* Ownership and lead of channels, including Email, Direct Mail and Mobile planning across Campaigns, GHS, CRM including Clubcard statement, Tesco Group and Group comms.
* Ownership of the technology roadmap which includes leading on key personalisation initiatives in collaboration with technology.
* Working with our personalisation team to facilitate the orchestration of relevant, high performing customer journeys.
* Lead on innovation and unlocking data capability to enable us to further innovative with personalisation. This includes managing the external agency relationships, incorporating our live personalisation technology platform and exploring new direct marketing channels.
* Ownership and lead of all test & learn and innovation planning including reporting to strategize and optimise performance of cross-channel comms (Email, Direct Mail. Mobile) comms ongoing and unlocking new opportunities
* Ensuring DCC Marketing Executives write technically excellent briefs and manage the creative process, production/ build through to QA
* Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to create, build and deploy campaigns as required.
* Leading team to utilise best in class coding techniques, defining and scoping audience targeting and reporting
* Using channel expertise to offer insight and direction to comms planning and other stakeholders
* Being accountable for performance and effectiveness, including reporting and attribution.
You will need
* Experience onboarding new email technology (preferred)
* Planning and project management (essential)
* Experience of end to end briefing,
* Development (build), deployment, analysis and reporting of email campaigns (essential)
* Ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders of all levels (essential)
* Experience of ESP\'s, campaign and personalisation platforms (essential)
* HTML email coding (preferable)
* Communications development and deployment experience across online/offline channels
