The Company:
Our client plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain management sector, acting as intermediaries between various parties involved in the shipping and transportation of goods. They coordinate the movement of freight, ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently and comply with all regulations. Their expertise helps streamline operations, reduce delays, and optimise costs, making them essential for businesses that rely on timely and effective delivery of products.
The Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a New Business Sales Executive to join their team based in Bristol, working from the office each Friday and a mix of meeting clients and working from home. It's essential you have gained business to business (new business rather than account management) selling a service rather than goods.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
2. Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool.
3. Orchestrate customer/branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources.
4. Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customers' logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
5. Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork.
6. Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
7. Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager.
8. Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs.
The Person:
For this role, it's essential that you have gained previous business to business (new business) selling a service. Our client is looking for someone who is able to identify new business and build relationships with new clients.
It's essential you are able to:

The Salary:
£36,000 + OTE (£12,000 guaranteed commission for the first 12 months) + £5,400 car allowance.

The Location:
Bristol, BS35 (Fridays are based in the office). Travel to clients and home working too. Must be able to travel to Bristol each week.
The Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
