Job Title: Senior Site Manager / Project Manager Job Type: Full-time, permanent Location: Kings Lynn Start Date: Immediate Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum Company, Project & benefits of Senior Site Manager / Project Manager We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to oversee the continuing construction of over 100 new build houses in Kings Lynn. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing all site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role will also benefit from the direct line management of a full-time Assistant Site Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring work progresses as planned and meets all quality and safety standards. - Manage site staff, subcontractors, and a full-time Assistant Site Manager, ensuring they are fully briefed on their roles and responsibilities. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments. - Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for the remaining development, adjusting strategies as necessary. - Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with required standards. - Liaise with architects, engineers, housing association, clients, and other stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and administration. - Conduct quality control inspections and manage the procurement of materials and equipment. - Engage with stakeholders to manage administration and expectations, fostering positive relationships and clear communication. Requirements : - Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. - NVQ in Construction Management or equivalent experience, with proven experience in managing residential construction projects. - Experience working with housing association clients and engaging with various stakeholders. - Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing and motivating a team. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and budget constraints. - Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. - Experience in inspecting scaffolding is desirable but not essential.
