About the role: You will join on a full time or part time permanent basis. The postholder will be responsible for: Planning, delivery, and evaluation of personalised teaching sessions tailored to the needs of pupils with SpLD Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas, where appropriate Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify pupil needs and track progress in line with the College's procedures Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), reviewing them regularly in collaboration with pupils, parents, and colleagues Maintain detailed and accurate records of pupil progress and interventions Work closely with the SENDCo and teaching staff to provide advice and strategies for classroom differentiation Contribute to staff training to enhance understanding of SpLD and inclusive practices Advocate for pupils with learning differences, ensuring they have equal opportunities to participate fully in school life Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence, resilience, and independence Dedication, hard work and passion will see you go far at Wellington College, we value and support our staff and you'll have the chance to develop existing and gain new skills with career progression opportunities available.
