We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to join a well-established, highly successful (and growing!) steelwork fabrication business that specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of a variety secondary and architectural steelwork projects.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Workshop Management, within the steelwork industry.

Workshop Manager duties include:
1. Ensure project deadlines are met by planning, coordinating and overseeing the workflow and production schedules
2. Liaise with QC to make sure all products meet the company and customer specifications
3. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments in line with necessary health and safety regulations
4. Continually assess and identify any areas of improvement and implement strategies
5. Effective Team Leader
Workshop Manager Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years in a Workshop Management position is essential, ideally within the steelwork industry
2. Excellent communication skills
3. A strong ability to use Microsoft Office software
4. IOSH Managing Safely certificate
5. Proven experience of man-management, this role requires you to manage an established team
6. Live within/commutable distance of the workshop
