We are currently looking for a passionate Events Planning Manager to join our Conference & Banqueting Office on an permanent basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.
As a Events Planning Manager, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
1. Ensure that an effective contract handover has taken place with the Event Sales team.
2. To assist clients in the organisation of details relating to their functions, giving logistical and operational advice.
3. Ensure all event details are communicated in a timely manner to the relevant departments.
4. Attend precon and debrief meeting with clients.
5. Be present on the day of the event in order to introduce your own clients to the operations team and ensure a smooth and detailed hand over. To stay and supervise service for all own social events till it is appropriate to leave and be available during larger corporate events.
You will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil their duties and in any event not less than 40 hours.
