Key aspects of the role include: Undertake skilled autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS and ADI-R). Obtain detailed developmental history through clinical interview. Evaluation of available evidence against diagnostic criteria. Accurate and timely record keeping of all contacts and assessments. Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) discussions and decision making. Communicating the outcome of assessments with those accessing the service. Develop defensible written reports, presenting complex information in a clear and accessible way. Participate in post diagnostic webinars or other aftercare offers.
