Roselands Infants’ School would like to appoint an inspirational Primary Guidance Leader who can inspire and motivate pupils to be the very best that they can be!
The role will provide guidance and welfare, supporting pupils to ensure that their personal development needs are met. The role will include safeguarding, delivering targeted interventions, supporting classroom management, and ensuring that the pupils feel safe and supported.
The successful applicants will have good interpersonal skills and a calm approach to working with children and with other adults, as well as an enthusiasm for working with pupils who are finding things challenging and a commitment to understanding their needs and support them to move forwards. Every day will be different so you will need to be unflappable and able to think on your feet with a positive approach and a good sense of humour. Positive communication, with pupils, parents and colleagues is a must. Training will be provided to become a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and three days Therapeutic Thinking training.
