Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist looking to expand your skills and clinical expertise by providing an enhanced pharmacy service to an Acute Medical ward within the Acute Medicine and Rehabilitation directorate? If so, we have an opportunity for you in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an intuitive, enthusiastic and versatile pharmacist to join our diverse and inclusive team to help us deliver excellent compassionate care to our patients via a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service.
The pharmacy department at OUH comprises over 100 staff in the clinical pharmacy team, and we work across all 4 hospital sites.
This role is based at the John Radcliffe hospital within the Acute medicine pharmacy team. We are continually trying to improve the service we provide, learning from each other to optimise what we do and adapting to changing service needs on medical wards.
Why do our staff like working here? Dynamic and rewarding setting, vast range of specialities with interesting patients with high levels of complexity, large group of supportive peers and consultant pharmacists from diverse backgrounds.
Supportive department, with great learning and development opportunities. Pharmacists are seen as valued members of the MDT who add positive contributions to patient care. Opportunities to continually develop your knowledge and be an expert and advocate in acute medicine.
