40hours per week, working 5 days across Mon:Fri, working between 22:00 and 06:00

In order for Royal Mail to run a safe, efficient and cost effective fleet, the Traffic Office Assistant would be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Issuing of vehicle keys and log books in line with Royal Mail Standards. All log books to be checked each day when returned
- Responsible for agency staff including signing on sheets, and that all agency are started and stopped on Joined Up in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to PMT1 process and maintain register
- Ensure VOR vehicles are isolated, and the workshop notified asap, also logged on Isotrak and Vision
- Issue and monitoring of foreign fuel key usage
- Ensure maintenance board and and vehicle files are kept up to date
- Ensure that Isotrak is kept up to date, data correctly inputted daily and all drivers are de:briefed at the end of their duty
- Ensure all adhoc collections are added to Isotrak, and all trailers allocated to a duty
A bit about you
- Organised, independent and self:motivated
- Happy in a fast:paced changing environment
- Have good verbal and phone communcation skills and confident talking to people, including customers
- Able to instruct drivers with relevant information and during some periods work unsupervised
- Able to liaise with vehicle workshops about getting VORs back in service as quickly as possible to ensure maximum vehicle availability
- Able to carry out a daily debrief with all drivers, ensuring and unresolved issues are passed onto the shift manager
