We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong connections to the Liverpool City Region to help develop and execute our presence in the area. The ideal candidate will have experience in, and knowledge of, the gaming and/or creative technology sectors, along with valuable contacts within these industries.
This is a contract role open to UK-based candidates for an initialduration of 3 months, with flexible hours to be agreed upon. We welcome applicants seeking part-time or flexible working arrangements. While the role is primarily remote, occasional travel to our HOST offices may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our presence in Liverpool City Region
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances with public and private sector organisations
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners, particularly those in the creative tech and creative media world
* Generate and qualify new leads through networking, events, and market research
* Identify funding opportunities and create strategic business opportunities in the region
* Work closely with our Director of Regions and Partnerships and Director of Creative Technology Programmes.
Requirements
* Well connected in the Liverpool Region
* Having at least 2+ years of business development or sales experience in a gaming/creative tech or another relevant industry.
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Bachelor degree or above
* Knowledge or interest in the creative tech and / or gaming industry is preferred
