Job Purpose The Business Development team falls within our Sales Team and aims to ensure the future sustainability of Cyd Innovation, through securing continuation of new income, supporting the development of new services and products and delivering a range of consultancy services in accordance with our objective of making a positive impact. Key Responsibilities To lead a high performing business development function, ensuring all income generation and related activities embed the organisations culture, vision and values. Lead on developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential income generation opportunities for the business. Establish effective governance for all aspects of the business development lifecycle. Manage and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing stakeholders, clients, and suppliers. Lead collaborations with colleagues and Senior Leadership Teams. To lead in registering the organisation onto relevant public sector frameworks. Essential Skills, Experience and qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent with at relevant post-qualification experience. An experienced income generation professional with a proven track record of success in a high-pressured business development environment. Excellent track record in securing significant income from a range of sources, exceeding financial targets. Experience of developing and supporting the execution of new ideas for income generation. Experience of building and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders.
