We aim to keep core medical and surgical skills within our practice, offering comprehensive in-house healthcare plans and excellent diagnostic tools (digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, video-endoscopy, and an in-house lab). Our focus is on providing high-quality care for patients and clients while supporting our vets in developing their own clinical interests. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a full-time veterinay surgeon, ideally with some experience. The right fit for us is someone compassionate and communicative, who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. You should be comfortable making decisions, working independently when needed, and contributing to our team’s collective success. The Role: You’ll work alongside an excellent team of RVNs, student nurses, and a wonderful front-of-house team. We offer 15-minute appointments, are RCVS-accredited, and are proud to hold Gold Compassionate Understood and Cat-Friendly Clinic certifications. We are also working towards Investors in the Environment accreditation. Our out-of-hours rota is 1:4, providing a good work-life balance. The Lake District and Scottish borders are nearby, so there’s plenty to enjoy in your downtime. OOH work is well supported and financially compensated, with a flexible and consistent rota in place.
