Description
* Leading and coordinating audit assignments from planning through to finalisation.
* Ensuring all audits are completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales.
* Supervising junior members of the team, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.
* Reviewing financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* Participating in business development activities to help expand the client base.
* Reporting directly to the Audit Manager and Partner on assignment progress.
* Continually updating knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
* A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
* Proven experience within a similar role in the professional services industry.
* Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
