Clinical Health Apprenticeship Assessor (Therapist)
Contract term: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37 hours over 5 days

Salary: £29,013 (£28,013pa unqualified assessor) rising to £32,178pa

What you’ll do:
We are looking for a passionate individual who will support learners within the workplace in achieving relevant Frameworks. The role involves assessing learners against Healthcare Therapist Qualifications/Apprenticeships (up to level 4 QCF) and Essential Skills (e.g. Literacy & Numeracy). You will be responsible for a caseload of learners (up to approx. 45) ensuring timely achievement of qualifications.
The role is field-based covering the South Wales area and will require the Assessor to deliver across routes; however, the trainer will be directly line managed by the Clinical Health Route Manager.
ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
What we need from you:
1. Minimum of 2 years’ occupational experience within a hospital setting providing either OT, Physio or Speech and Language Therapy.
2. Must be a registered HCPC with an active registration.
3. Hold a full U.K. driving licence.
4. Assessor qualification (or willingness to complete).
