ICONIC London is a fast-growing colour cosmetic brand born and established online and on social media, now expanding into retail stores and new geographies. Based between our Canary Wharf HQ and home, you will work with and support our friendly, vibrant, and highly successful Operations team.
Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to join our dynamic Operations team in the cosmetics industry. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with our Demand Planner and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of our products. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tracking delivery of stock to warehouses: Monitor the delivery schedules of stock, coordinate with suppliers and buying team, and ensure timely receipt of goods at our warehouses.
2. Booking stock into both UK and US warehouses: Accurately and quickly book incoming stock into our warehouse systems, ensuring all records are up to date and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
3. Managing batches of stock: Active management of stock batches, including expiry dates to ensure FIFO (first in first out) of stock.
4. Balancing stock between our Ecom and Wholesale accounts to ensure consistent supply within the warehouses.
5. Where needed, efficiently balance and transfer stock between our two warehouses (UK and USA) to maintain optimal stock levels and meet demand requirements.
6. Reserving stock for special orders: Reserve stock for special orders and promotional plans with regular reviews and sharing key information.
7. Managed by the demand planner: Very close working relationship with the demand planner, aiding the demand planner in a variety of ways including producing stock reports, data analysis, etc.
8. Working with internal teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including buyers, wholesale delivery teams, and customer services.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree level educated ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least two years previous experience in supply chain management or logistics, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
3. Excellent Excel skills, comfortable with data analysis, producing reports in Excel, and creating for example “pivot tables”.
4. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in using 3PL warehouse management software and internal systems.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
