About the Role
TXM Consult is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive the day-to-day running of the business, develop the business plan and vision to achieve continual growth across sectors and regions.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work alongside a collaborative team of industry leaders to continue the exponential growth of TXM Consult. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Communicating with internal teams to analyse project financial and business financial data.
* Providing support across financial interfaces and managing periodic completion of management accounts.
* Developing commercial strategies to align with company objectives, vision, and growth targets.
* Overseeing and managing the Commercial Coordinator, providing guidance and development of team members.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a rail or engineering consultancy environment and possess excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to work with complex information and financial data. They will also be highly self-disciplined, able to manage their workload autonomously, and have a strong focus on attention to detail.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, based on Derby or London office/hybrid locations. The successful candidate will require some domestic travel from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree or professional qualification, preferably 3-5 years' experience working in commercial and financial business activities.
* Experience in the accurate management of data, detailed analysis, and preparation of written reports and recommendations.
* Previous experience of managing, coaching, and mentoring team members.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office packages and business management systems such as SAP, Sage, CRM systems.
You will also need to be willing to maintain a commitment to personal and professional development, keeping abreast of current professional knowledge and be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence others towards a desired way of thinking or course of action.
