Your new company
Hays are working with a business in Welshpool who are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their team in Welshpool on a temporary basis initially (with a view to possible permanent) working 1 day per week
Your new role
Purchase Ledger:
* Post all purchase invoices / expenses and credit card transactions to Sage as information received.
* Raise purchase orders when requested, where no PO raised obtain appropriate authorisation prior to processing.
* Reconcile ledger balances to supplier statements monthly.
* Make supplier payments monthly to agreed credit terms.
Sales Ledger:
* Raise sales invoices monthly in line with reporting timetable.
Additional tasks
* Prepare weekly bank reconciliations including any petty cash and foreign currency held on site.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper/ Accounts Administrator who can get to Welshpool and looking for a role 1 day per week
What you'll get in return
The business are looking for someone 1 day per week but can be flexible on the day and hours (potentially could be split over 2 days if preferred). The role is initially temporary but with a view to possibly becoming permanent
