The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Retailer Support Advisor to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. We pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.
Our retail finance division, Omni Capital, partners with retailers nationwide to provide their customers with innovative credit solutions, using state-of-the-art technology that allow them to spread the cost of their purchases. We’re on the lookout for new talent to join Omni to help continue to drive our thriving business forward.
As a Retailer Support Advisor, you will sit within the Operations team and be responsible for retailer enquiries, training and on-boarding processes and other operational requirements used to manage Omni retailers. You will also act as a liaison between retailer related operations management, and the Omni Account Management Team. You will handle application enquiries from retailers and be the first point of escalation for customer claims. You will also provide general retailer servicing support (such as IT logins, navigation of the portal) and answer any payment queries the retailer may have.
You’ll work alongside a fun, creative and energetic team of people who all work together to ensure our 5 company values of Customers First, Forward Thinking, Professional Pride, Achieve Together, and Open & Transparent are at the heart of everything we do.
The role is full time Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30 and is based at our Basingstoke office which is home to the Omni Operations Team. It has great access to the M3 and the mainline railway station and is just 45 minutes from London.
What we are looking for in you…
What is important to us is that you have previous experience of working in a customer service role and possess an excellent telephone manner. Your communication skills should be exceptional with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail. It would be beneficial if you have prior experience of working in the retail finance industry, combined with commercial knowledge and awareness with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
What is equally important is that you have a positive and friendly attitude and are passionate about the delivery of excellent customer service. You should be comfortable to adapt and shift focus to changing priorities whilst continuing to maintain high standards. If you have knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act – this would be highly beneficial.
