We are looking for an Accountancy Officer to join our small and friendly team on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover. You will gain valuable skills and experience, learning accounting processes and supporting vital services.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a candidate who has some experience in a finance setting and ideally AAT part qualified/qualified. You will need to demonstrate you are numerate and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will be organised and self-motivated, and able to work to set deadlines.
The Role
This is an interesting and varied role, and the main responsibilities include:
• Provide financial support and advice to budget holders
• Monthly reconciliations
• Monitoring of revenue budgets
• Maintaining a register of all grant income
• Assisting with providing information to external audit
