We are looking for a Systems Designer to join our team in Bradford (BD4). This hybrid role, with expectations to work in the office at least two days a week.
As a Systems Designer, you will collaborate with various technical experts within our organisation to enhance process improvements, efficiencies, and month-end continuity. You will provide optimal architectural solutions for both existing and new initiatives, assist in defining the scope and sizing of work, and lead Proof of Concept developments. Additionally, this position will develop solutions for business problems, integrate platforms with third-party services, and design and develop complex features to meet clients' business needs.
What will you be doing?
* Provide technical support as needed and maintain software throughout its lifecycle.
* Assist development team members with documentation and guidance.
* Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using React and Next.js.
* Implement server-side rendering and optimize the platform for performance and scalability.
* Collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Ensure UI/UX designs meet requirements and are intuitive.
* Develop reusable components to expedite future project implementations.
* Conduct regular code reviews to keep projects up to date.
* Design, test, implement, and deploy applications.
* Optimize existing code to uphold high standards of code quality and performance.
We tend to look for people with:
* Strong proficiency in React and Next.js, with experience in TypeScript.
* Expertise in server-side rendering.
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
* Solid understanding of application state management.
* Extensive knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
* Experience with integrating REST APIs.
* Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
