Area Sales Manager (Tooling)
Position Type: Permanent, full-time.
Location: Field sales position. Territory covers Southwest England and South Wales. Areas such as Gloucester, Bristol, Taunton, Newport, Cardiff, Swansea.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum + Car Allowance (£450 per month) + Commission + Bonus.

Area Sales Managers play a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert pre-sales consultation and dependable post-sales support. In this role, you will collaborate closely with members of the sales team and interact with colleagues across multiple departments, including research, development, design, procurement, production, engineering, quality assurance, and senior management. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of professionals, ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth.
Example of Responsibilities:
Identifying and pursuing potential clients who could benefit from the company's products or services, while maximising opportunities in assigned regions.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding and addressing their specific needs.
Convincing clients that the company's offerings deliver optimal value in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery.
Preparing client quotations and managing their accounts efficiently.
Providing pre-sales support and delivering product education to clients.
Assessing costs and analysing sales performance.
Creating detailed reports for the head office.
Achieving consistent sales targets and overseeing sales projects.
Participating in marketing initiatives, including attending trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
Conducting sales presentations and demonstrating how the products align with client requirements.
Collaborating with sales team members and technical specialists to ensure seamless operations.Skills Required:
Previous experience selling tooling to the manufacturing industry is preferred
Commercial understanding is crucial to ensure profitability.
Ability to identify opportunities for growth.
Full UK Driving Licence.
