Job Description
Thalia Waste Management is seeking a reliable and proactive HSEQ Coordinator to join our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality team at Allerton Waste Recovery Park.
* This is a site-based role - Allerton Waste Recovery Park, Knaresborough, HG5 0SD.
* This role is designed for an individual eager to learn and grow in a health and safety environment, where we provide comprehensive training and knowledge to ensure your success.
Key Duties:
* Provide administrative support to the HSEQ team.
* Coordinate Health, Safety, and Environmental training programs.
* Manage data collection for HSEQ reporting.
* Coordinate various assessments (Fire Risk, Air Quality, Noise).
* Develop action plans following assessments.
* Conduct site inductions for new staff and visitors.
* Coordinate face fit testing for personal protective equipment.
* Create reports using the site Incident Reporting System.
* Carry out regulatory inspections external to the site.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (essential).
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Quick learner with a proactive approach.
* Positive attitude and reliability.
* Experience with Microsoft SharePoint (desirable).
* Experience in an industrial setting (desirable).
