Teaching Personnel's PWR Team are working with an outstanding school in Bristo who are in search of a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).

About the Role:
* Lead and manage the school's provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
* Develop and implement effective strategies to support the inclusion and progress of all pupils, including those with high needs.
* Work closely with teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to SEND support.
* Provide high-quality teaching and support to pupils with SEND, both individually and within small groups.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to SEND provision.
* Promote a culture of inclusion throughout the school.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Relevant SENCO qualification (e.g., National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders)
* Significant experience of working with pupils with a range of SEND
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for inclusive education
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience of working in a primary school setting
* Knowledge of current SEND legislation and guidance
