About the role and team
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join our Governance, Funding and Corporate team.
We are looking for a legal secretary to work for 4-5 fee earners within the charity governance team. The successful candidate should have good all round secretarial and administrative skills and have an eye for detail. They should have a good telephone manner and be able to take detailed messages, be a team player, but also be able to work on their own and use their own initiative.
* The main responsibilities of the role include:
o Typing via dictation
o Document amendments - to include reformatting and putting the document into our house style
o Diary Management
o File management - to include opening and closing files, carrying out compliance checks, scanning and saving documents to the document management system
o Contact with clients and professionals via telephone and email
About the candidate
The candidate should have excellent typing and administration skills and be confident in use of technology (with full knowledge of using Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint). They will have the ability to confidently and professionally develop strong relationships with clients and third parties. Admin and secretarial qualifications are preferred but not essential.
