Ashton Recruitment requires a Forklift Driver for our client based at Belfast Harbour. This position will be full time with the view of becoming a permanent Forklift Driver after 12-week probation period.
Position: Forklift Driver
Location: Belfast Harbour
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
* All forklift duties as required
* Unloading boats and trailers
* Operating various forklifts
* Following all health and safety as set out by the client
* Transporting loaded pallets through the yard
* Flexibility to work around the clients' requirements as overtime may be required
Essential Criteria:
* At least two years previous forklift experience
* Valid Counterbalance Licence
* Previous experience working with pallets
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience in a logistical setting
* Manual Handling Certificate
