What you'll do: Eaton's Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division has an opening for a Degree Apprentice within the Quality Team. The role will be based at the South Molton site on a 37 hour per week contract with supported day release and study time. The successful candidate will undertake a fully funded 4-year Degree delivered by Petroc, associated with the University of Plymouth. Eaton will provide a detailed training programme, which will involve a wide variety of training and tasks including, but not limited to, the following: - Creation and maintenance of Quality Metrics - Supporting with quality investigations - Problem-solving and Route cause analysis through various Quality processes - Regulatory Compliance - Statistical analysis - Lean Manufacturing - Inspection techniques - Communication with customers Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have attained the skills and qualifications to become a Quality Engineer. Qualifications: - 3 A Levels - Grade C or above (to include Mathematics) OR - BTEC vocational qualification at Level 3 OR - Level 3 Apprenticeship - GCSE's (minimum of grade '4' for Maths and English) Skills: - Relevant work experience - Strong communication skills - An analytical approach and attention to detail - Ability and drive to improve our business - Confident in challenging situations with an ability to work with others - Enthusiasm and a flexible approach - An interest to gain knowledge and experience of Aerospace Quality Systems, standards and specifications - Strong Microsoft Office skill set in Word, Excel and PowerBI
