About the role: Work closely and collaboratively with the COO and Operations teams to review, analyse and challenge. Provide financial support to the UK Exec. Manage monthly review of costs, forecasts and initiatives. Represent finance on various business initiatives. Provide financial advice and ensure decisions are based on information and logic.
* Ensure management information is fit for the decisions it is designed to support.
* Present Finance updates at regional operations meetings and any other functions where required.
* Assist with additional projects dictated by departmental goals/priorities
* Ensure all month end deadlines are met and month end actuals are accurate.
* Monthly analysis of annual €500m direct costs and understand underlying operational KPIs and performance metrics
* Report performance against KPIs and target, understand the drivers of change.
* Forecast the future month, rest of year and next year's direct costs. Develop models to improve the accuracy of forecasts.
* Financial Accounting. Be responsible for compliant financial accounting advice and decisions under IFRS.
* Responsible for external submissions to regulatory bodies
The ideal candidate will have:
* More than 5 years experience in a similar position
* Qualified finance professional
