Technical Sales Administrator
Location: Biggin Hill
Hours: 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday
Netbox Recruitment is partnered exclusively with a well-established, independently owned engineering company looking to grow their team and hire a Sales / Customer Service Administrator. They take pride in having low staff turnover, nurturing staff development, and providing excellent products coupled with excellent customer service.
This role will be varied and at the forefront of customer engagement. You will be the first point of contact for inbound email enquiries from Project Managers looking for solutions and pricing of the works required.
The role would suit someone with a methodical and analytical mindset, as you will be working with numbers and various computer systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Learning the complete product range (training will be provided)
2. Processing inbound sales quotations
3. Quoting bespoke systems
4. Arranging shipping
5. Monitoring longer-term orders and ensuring they are dispatched on time
6. Answering customers' queries by phone and email
7. Working closely with other members of staff
8. Assisting other departments when required
9. Helping organize company events/customer Christmas gifts
10. Ordering office supplies
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, keen to learn, have a friendly telephone manner, be able to manage their own time, and prioritize effectively.
The job will involve heavy use of the Sage 50 Accounts database, so the successful candidate will be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Experience in an office environment would be preferable. An interest in science/technology/engineering would be a benefit.
