The Role:
As part of our commercial gas team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of plumbing, heating, and gas systems in a variety of commercial settings. This is a hands-on role where you will troubleshoot and resolve faults, ensuring minimal downtime for clients and delivering outstanding service. You’ll work independently and as part of a larger team, supporting a broad range of prestigious clients.
Hourly Rate: £16.97 to £19.23 (Depending on experience)
This equates to an annual salary range of approximately £37,504 to £47,498, based on 42.5 to 47.5 hours per week.

If you currently only hold domestic gas qualifications (such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1, DAH1, and CPA1), we will provide full training and support for you to gain your commercial gas qualifications, including:
* COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety.
* CODNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Gas Crossover.
* TPCP1 & TPCP1A – Testing & Purging of Commercial Gas Systems.
* CORT1 – Overhead Radiant Tube Heaters.
* CIGA1 – Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances.
* CDGA1 – Direct Fired Commercial Appliances.
* COMCAT 1-5 – Commercial Catering Gas Equipment.
* CCCN1 – Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety.
* LPG Changeover – For mobile and outdoor catering.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Customer-focused approach – You must be presentable and professional in all interactions.
* Strong fault-finding skills – This is a critical aspect of the role. You must be confident in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently, particularly with:
o S Plan systems
o Wiring for unvented cylinders
o Boilers (switch lives)
o Zone valves
o Pumps
o Heating controls
o The ability to troubleshoot and resolve faults quickly is essential to ensuring minimal downtime for clients and maintaining high service standards.
* Relevant qualifications – You must hold the necessary certifications for the work being carried out. We can assist with gaining additional commercial gas, LPG, oil, and heat pump qualifications.
What We Offer:
* Full-time role – 42.5 hours per week (typically closer to 47.5 hours including travel).
* Weekly overtime available.
* On-call retention bonus – £100 per rota.
* On-call rota – 1 in 5.
* Company vehicle for personal use – Includes 20 miles of free fuel per week.
* 33 days of holiday (including 8 bank holidays).
* Hourly rate – £16.97 to £19.23 (depending on experience).
* This equates to an annual salary range of approximately £37,504 to £47,498, based on 42.5 to 47.5 hours per week.
* Bonus schemes – Monthly prize draws and paid team days out.
* Loyalty bonus – £500 after 6 months of service (subject to performance).
