We are looking for an experienced line manager, with significant experience of working with vulnerable clients in either a supportive setting or within the community, to join our small team in the Bath area as a Programme Coordinator.
Our Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery team provides specialist support to protect and care for all adult survivors of modern slavery in England and Wales through a government contract. Our residential setting in the Bath area provides a supportive service to victims of trafficking, including sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, forced labour, and other forms of human trafficking.
The role of Programme Coordinator is central to achieving positive outcomes for our vulnerable clients, with responsibilities focused on leading front line operational service delivery and line managing our Specialist Support Workers.
It is a busy and demanding role, and you will have oversight of the support of a number of residents, ensuring that we deliver a service to those at highest risk as well as operating within a multi-agency framework including the Home Office, Police, medical practitioners, local authorities, and housing.
Reporting to the setting’s Service Manager, you will be working to internal and contractual KPIs, ensuring that our support services are high quality and cost-effective, whilst placing client safety and choice at the centre of all you and your team do.
Having direct experience of working in this specific field within the social care sector is preferred but not essential; it is more important that you are already a skilled and inspiring people manager with significant experience of supporting vulnerable clients with extensive mental health difficulties, alcohol and/or drug dependencies, and suicidal ideations and tendencies. You’ll also be able to demonstrate your passion and drive for helping clients achieve positive outcomes.
To succeed, you will also need:
* Level 4 NVQ or equivalent in a related field, or be willing to work towards it
* To be business-minded, capable of implementing and leading change, and able to understand and review financial information
* Have experience in effectively working within a multi-agency framework
* The ability to carry out admin tasks, and be proficient in a range of IT packages including Microsoft
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
As well as the standard benefits described, for this setting we offer free on-site parking; training and development opportunities, a keen focus on staff wellbeing with reflective practice and peer support sessions, and an on-site canteen with low-cost meals. The site is located on a major bus route.
Please note: The location will be disclosed to successful candidates upon completion of reference and DBS checks due to the confidentiality of the project.
