About the Role An Outstanding school in Barnet is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Business & Economics Teacher to deliver their University Foundation Programme. This is a temporary, part-time position requiring teaching for 3 mornings per week, commencing in April. The successful Business & Economics Teacher will play a key role in preparing students for university-level studies. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Business & Economics Teacher lessons within the University Foundation Programme curriculum. Teach core concepts in both Business and Economics to a high standard. Prepare students for assessments and programme completion. Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment conducive to university preparation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with the programme coordinator and other staff as needed. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience in teaching Business and Economics at secondary or post-16 level. Strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of university-level expectations. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage and motivate students preparing for higher education. Flexibility to work 3 mornings per week.
