Are you an SEN teacher or tutor that lives in and around the Essex area? We have an opening for a skilled SEN teacher to work 1:1 with children aged 4-18 in alternative educational settings such as within the home, a library, or other appropriate locations.
You will be working 1:1 with students that require specialised educational support in line with their EHCP educational outcomes. We work with children with a diverse range of SEN/Ds and are looking for experienced professionals within the field with a range of experience across the SEN curriculum, able to fully meet their needs.
You should have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum for SEN with:
1. a UK recognised teaching qualification
2. at least 2 years SEN/D teaching/tutoring experience in the UK
3. a DBS registered on the update service (if not, you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy)
4. a passion to work with and help SEN students progress
5. ideally have completed safeguarding training up to level 2
