Job Description
Operational Resilience Consultant required for a global financial services firm. You will work within Governance and Change in strengthening operational resilience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure operational resilience documentation aligns with governance and regulatory standards (FCA/PRA, DORA).
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a coordinated approach to reporting and resilience management.
3. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on deliverables, risks, and issues; facilitate workshops to gather technical and non-technical input.
4. Data Management: Support data mapping to connect new and established sources to reporting systems, ensuring data quality.
5. Issue Resolution: Work with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve resilience gaps; lead discussions to address emerging issues.
6. Governance and Reporting: Create PowerPoint presentations for committees, take meeting minutes, and support the preparation of self-assessment reports.
Experience:
1. Background in governance, ideally within the UK financial sector.
2. Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow (Operational Resilience module) and JIRA (preferred).
3. Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management.
Knowledge:
1. Strong understanding of UK regulatory standards for operational resilience, DORA EU regulations, and business continuity principles.
Skills:
1. Ability to track project deliverables and escalate issues when necessary.
2. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship building.
3. Competency in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
4. Strong organizational skills with attention to timelines and critical paths.
