Your new company is a successful manufacturing company that specializes in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated solutions for clients in Ireland and the UK. Due to their increased orders and new contracts, they are growing their quality team.
Your new role as a Quality Inspector involves ensuring production units match all approved drawings and specifications, and monitoring operations to ensure they meet production standards. You will recommend adjustments to the welding or production process and inspect, test, measure, and report on materials and products being produced. You will ensure all quality checks are completed and recorded within the quality management system, accept or reject finished items, report inspection and test data, and record non-conformances. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Dayshift hours are Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed: Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role within the M&E or manufacturing industries, and excellent knowledge of MS Office. You should possess good mathematical and technical skills, a strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques, and good written and oral communication skills. Additionally, you should have excellent knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings.
