The Role
As a Drum Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured 1-to-1 drum lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. Lessons take place exclusively at our academy in Cargo Fleet on a weekly basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic tutor looking to inspire students and help them develop their drumming skills in a well-equipped teaching space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver 1-to-1 drum lessons tailored to individual student needs.
2. Teach a variety of drumming techniques, styles, and rhythms.
3. Support students in their musical development, whether for fun, graded exams, or performance.
4. Maintain a positive and encouraging teaching environment.
Requirements
1. Strong drumming ability with experience teaching students of different skill levels.
2. A friendly and patient approach to teaching.
3. Ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles.
4. Experience preparing students for graded exams (optional but beneficial).
5. Reliable and professional with good communication skills.
6. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
